With access to our expert equipment, including laser cutting, 3D and resin printing, you will have the opportunity to explore and discover what would best suit your business needs.
This workshop will require using CAD software, however no prior knowledge is required. The available ongoing support will allow you to develop your knowledge and your ideas.
In this workshop, you will:
- Be introduced to the DIfG programme
- Understand the prototyping process
- Use CAD to create some simple designs
- Understand what’s possible with our equipment
- Book for further 1:1 support
At the DMC 02 MakerLab, we provide a range of online and offline events that share 'art of the possible' examples of digital innovation, provide access to a range of additional knowledge and expertise, as well as accessible 'how to' content and demonstrations.
These workshops are part of our Digital Innovation for Growth Programme (for eligible SMEs*) which offers 12 hours of fully funded access to our prototyping and testing facilities in the Maker Lab, and the opportunity to work with Sheffield Hallam University’s academic experts.
*The programme is available for SMEs across Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, and Rotherham, as well as Chesterfield, North-East Derbyshire, Derbyshire Dales, Bolsover, and Bassetlaw.
